Bosnia Vows to Save Dairy Farmers From Ruin| glObserver Global Economics


The dairy crisis is a priority task for Bosnia’s national government, the Council of Ministers, only a week next the new Council was approved by the national parliament.

Bosnian Trade Minister Mirko Sarovic told a press conference on Thursday that the authorities would act fast to set up a national-level central body that would guarantee the quality of milk products.

Bosnian authorities are preparing a response to EU’s Food and Veterinary Office, FVO, in which they will outline how they aim to meet conditions that would open up the EU market to Bosnia’s dairy farmers.
