Uzbekistan’s gross output of agriculture increased by 6.8 % in the initial half of this year, compared to the same period last year. The figures were reported at a board conference of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources held in Tashkent last week.

Shukhrat Teshaev, Uzbekistan Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources noted the increase rate of industrial production amounted to 149.0 %, while the increase rate of consumer goods grew by 6.5 %.
The country’s export of goods was 121.5 % of estimate figures, Teshaev mentioned at the conference.
