Jordanian industrialists expect a decision to be taken by Iraqi authorities this week to open the border crossing with the Kingdom, Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) President Ayman Hatahet said Saturday.

Egypt’s ministry of trade and industry will ban the export of all types of rice starting Sept. 1, a ministry official said on Thursday. The ministry is from presently on to decide on the duration of the ban, said Sayed Abu Qomsan, a deputy for the minister.
